Isn't this just "undocumented" kelp and any efforts spent resisting it should be labeled as "racist" against all Japanese (or indeed, Asians as a whole!) agricultural products?

Wait! Isn't California Lawmakers masters of the environment?
They can control the weather and save the planet but slime has them running for another boogieman.
They surely need to create another tax and ban another food item to clear this problem up.

Maybe they can demand that tires not be made out of rubber by 2019 or something.

The only thing keeping it at bay was Barry Bonds' steroid-powered baseballs landing in McCovey Cove and, now that he's retired, it's hopeless.
