Hell, I was there.

Do not trust these numbers.

If they did not try to cheat it would be out of character for Russkies.

I was involved in one of the programs for Russian nuke destruction back in the 1990s. There was plenty of opportunity to cheat and hide nukes from our observers.

The numbers are accurate. Our satellites can see the Russian silos and mobile launchers.

Most Russian silos are reusable, and instead of looking at silos, we should be looking at warehouses, underpasses, bunkers, caves, etc. that can hold a missile.

I am with you on this one. The Russians/Soviets have

-NEVER-

kept a treaty with “Glavni Vrag” (”The Main Enemy”, the US.)

If anyone REALLY thinks we can trust the Russians then they should look into their compliance with the 1972 Biological Weapons treaty.

We complied. The Soviets went on to create new ‘cocktails’ of the most deadly biological weapons on earth, and then to make massive stockpiles of them, while we didn’t.

‘The numbers are accurate. Our satellites can see the Russian silos and mobile launchers.’

-I don’t doubt that the Russians let us see what they want us to see. Deception and secrecy is their forte for a long time now.

All right, but the cold war is over.....so there’s no need to modernize the arsenal of nuclear missiles.
