Two men were having coffee, when one of them said:
"Last night, my son just walked into the living room and said, 'Dad,
cancel my allowance immediately, rent my room out, throw all my
clothes out of the window, take my TV, stereo, iPhone, iPod, and my
laptop. Please give my jewelry to the Salvation Army or Goodwill. Then
sell my car. Take my front door key away from me and throw me out of
the house. Then disown me and never talk to me again. And don't forget
to write me out of your will and leave my share to my brother."
The other man said, "Wow, he really said that?"
"Well, he didn't put it quite that way. He actually said . . .
'Dad, I've decided to work for Obama's re-election campaign."
My very close friend is fighting a fight like yours. He says it’s about the principle of the matter, and is rich enough not to care how much he pays the lawyers. He wants to punish his sisters. My attitude is different: it’s not my money anyway, and bad people naturally do evil unto themselves. Why would I waste even 10k on lawyers to fight my own sister? Nope. While my buddy flies all over the map and does anything in his power to do justice, my attitude is to honor the man who made the money by acquiescing. In the end, whether it’s a pair of cowboy boots or a million dollars, it’s just not worth it. (To me.)
Each to his own I guess. I have always liked stories where the good guy wins and the bad guy goes to jail.
LOL
