My Son is Moving Out

Posted on 05/19/2012 10:23:22 AM PDT by woofie

Two men were having coffee, when one of them said:

"Last night, my son just walked into the living room and said, 'Dad,

cancel my allowance immediately, rent my room out, throw all my

clothes out of the window, take my TV, stereo, iPhone, iPod, and my

laptop. Please give my jewelry to the Salvation Army or Goodwill. Then

sell my car. Take my front door key away from me and throw me out of

the house. Then disown me and never talk to me again. And don't forget

to write me out of your will and leave my share to my brother."

The other man said, "Wow, he really said that?"

"Well, he didn't put it quite that way. He actually said . . .

'Dad, I've decided to work for Obama's re-election campaign."

Funny!

But a 20-something year old giving up their iPad, iPhone and laptop makes it a little unbelievable.

My liberal siblings stayed in the will, which is fine. As might have been expected one of them managed to rip off the estate to a seven-figure tune, which is fine. Why are these things fine in the end? Because I didn’t make that money and feel blessed simply to have been raised RIGHT!

We have been in probate court for over a year now. Hubby’s sis has stolen about $300k that has been documented so far. It is not fine! His Dad is still alive and has dementia. She stole Dad’s monies. And even if Dad had passed the trust states that 50% is to go to hubby, not all of it to sis. That is the way Dad wanted it and that is the way it is going to be.

What would the Pod People do without their iPod?

You missed the point. That was the father threatening what he'd do if...

Working for Obama’s re-election campaign is like joining a cult, so the script is “fake but accurate”.

Isn’t that a criminal offence and won’t your sister-in-law be going to jail?

No,but it will put the relative in the looney bin! You really don’t know your siblings until your parents pass...!!!
I flew in for my mother’s funeral carrying only a overnight bag. My sister accused me of stealing the old canning jars from under the kitchen sink!!! And that’s just some of the funny stuff!!!
