SHAME on those that abandon an animal. or that mistreat and are cruel to an animal. One thing I know we can help sustain life and we can offer comfort and a home to an animal and receive comfort and faithfulness back, but one thing we can not do and that is give life back to an animal that is killed whatever the manner.

We either build up or we tear down.

I have about 15 or so box turtles. Really too many for my yard. Now I am concerned if I take some of the males off to a golf course or park they will not know how to find food. I have been feeding them some of them for a few years and some I just rescued from the street recently. Made a mistake in not marking them in some way so I know which are the latest arrivals, etc. There are about 4 baby turtles this year.

God blesses turtles too.

God Bless all of His creatures, Geo. So many of them depend on us for their care and safety. Seeing an abandoned dog just breaks my heart. They look so sad and forlorn ... seem to be asking Why???.

Just checked my Holiday list and found that today is "World Turtle Day".
