"AK47 is fuel to wars in world" according to commentator

Yep. The rangemaster came strolling by with this big grin and I started laughing in acknowledgment to what he was seeing.
Damn rifle was kicking my butt and after about 60-80 rounds I started laughing and pantomimed myself pushing my shoulder forward in anticipation of shot driving my rounds down 2-3 inches with each shot.
Frickin hurts and is made worse by having a torn rotator cuff on the order shoulder which gets operated on soon.
Sounds painful.
I had some sort of issue with my left arm that made it hard to hold the forearm of my shotguns and rifles, but therapy (a really good - and painful - massage among other things) got me through it and its mostly okay now. Still doesn’t have the same range of movement, though.
Thnx. Just ordered.
Got the MRI results two weeks ago. Shows a Labrum tear and possibly a SLAP tear.
I have a semi-auto Romanian WASR, which is an AK-47 variant. Granted, its not an MOA weapon, nor will it group as well as my Chinese Type 56 (SKS). It WILL, however, consistently shoot minute of bad guy at 200 yards. Hitting a softball sized target at 100 yards is no problem, nor would be hitting a Taliban member at combat ranges. She does significantly better than spray and pray. Im a dedicated lever gun guy, but the AK platform is OK.
The ak-47 is a handy carbine not meant for working at extended range . If used as intended as a burp gun that can be used as a carbine by troops/folks taught to used aimed fire it is a handy little carbine.
But the key is the level of training in basic rifle marksmanship. Which is why gangbangers cause so much collateral damage . They point the firearm in the general direction of the target & bang away & trust to luck .
Perhaps look into a Knoxx recoil-reducing stock. I got one for my 870.
It’s magic.
Every once in a while I consider getting a poor man’s AR and I know I should but I get all excited about fancy guns and I go get them.
A friend remarked “Why do you need an $4,000 rifle?”
My reply “I do t need $8,000 watches but I love the quality, aesthetics and intricacy of something that is just beautiful. Besides, I don’t have kids otherwise I would make different decisions on what I buy, as I would probably special d my money on the kids...if had any”
I’ll probably buy one or two AK before rhetorically end of the year as I am looking for weapons I couldn’t care less if they broke or somehow lost, perhaps in a boating accident ...
Saw that yesterday in my search. Looks promising. I’m gonna chuck the trigger as well.
