His credentials were obvious: Aside from having a Muslim sounding name (his place of birth being totally scrubbed from the entire Internet) Waleed's bio on the NASA website states:
"His research has focused on the use of satellites and aircraft to understand how and why Earth's ice cover is changing, and what those changes mean for life on our planet."
To be fair: Earth’s ice cover does change( always has), and it would have an impact on life on the planet. (always has)
The crux of the argument is wether or not man is responsible, or that big giant fusion ball in the sky, and our orbit around it. ( not to mention a whole host of other variables that have nothing to do with us)
I go with the latter myself.
