A very old Lady has been smeared for being old. Throughout the movie she is smeared as a tottering old Lady tormented by hallucinations of her husband. She is dismissed by her son for not being able to pay for a trip from South Africa. She is marginalized to the maximum.

But there is one big problem: Margaret Thatcher is Much Alive.

Imagine if Geraldine Ferraro had been smeared like this. The howls of the left would go around the world on every TV screen and newspaper. Yet again, someone like Mrs. Thatcher is seen as fair game while she is this elderly.

Well, I for one, have decided not to watch any Meryl Streep or Liberal Movies anymore not wanting to WASTE MY MONEY or TIME on such Slime.

The Left Descends Yet again.

The Left has nothing substantive to offer, only argumentum ad hominem - personal attacks and smears. They could not and cannot possibly win in the forum of ideas against true conservatives like Margaret Thatcher and what she stood for and the things she accomplished.

The Iron Lady isn’t a political film. It isn’t even an insightful biopic. It’s a different kind of movie, and belongs in a different kind of category.

It sure does.

We saw this movie. The scenes where the story of the young and middle aged Thatcher was told were wonderful. But that was only about one third of the movie. The rest was nothing but a mish-mash of Alzheimers behaviors. It was very disrespectful of a great lady. I was unhappy that Streep won the Oscar but I suspect they gave it to her as she hadn't won in a long time. The Oscars are nothing but political. I hope someone makes a movie about Baroness Thatcher that shows how she ‘transformed’ Britain, if only for a short time. She was a real force for good in the world but had the wrong political ideology for the ‘celebrity culture’ that is dominant.

our govt is a mob of criminals headed by a kenyan terrorist, yet conservatives still send them money

our public schools are full of homo agenda liberal indoctrination teams and yet conservatives still send them their kids

hollyweird is brick by brick tearing apart everything once true and noble about America and yet conservatives still buy their crap and spend how many hours a day in front of the brainwash box

why give your money your kids and your business to the liberal Taliban and act surprised at the results?

Actually, Streep does a good job, but the screenplay is so disjointed that if you didn't know about Thatcher you'd be lost.

and it equates her discussions with her dead husband with senility, whereas this phenomenon is actually a healthy sign of mourning in those who were married a long time.
