Which article of the constitution do you feel regulates pornography? The enumerated powers in article 1, section 8 seem to me to be silent on that issue. The fact that you feel that by my pointing that fact out is equivalent to advocating pornography illustrates the hopelessness of the strict-constructionists cause. I would ask what article permits it? The court may have ruled it "Speech" but it most assuredly is not. My understanding of the purpose of the 1rst amendment protection of "freedom of speech" was to prevent the then common practice of retaliation to political speech that was disapproved by the government. (Such as complaints of incompetence or malfeasance.)
