Palin Says Republican Presidential Primary Still 'Competitive'

Sarah Palin blasted the political establishment Sunday, saying many elected lawmakers, Republicans included, haven't done enough to cut government and spending.

But asked by Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace who specifically she considers part of this elite class of her party, mentioning specifically House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Leader Mitch McConnell, she demurred.

"I consider anyone part of the establishment, those who today are fighting to keep the status quo," Palin said. "Those who are allowing government to grow , who are allowing the president that plastic credit card that’s increasing debt and they are not engaging in that sudden and relentless reform that we need in order to defend our republic."

Yew, it is still competitive. If the Republican nominating convention starts with no one person having the majority of delegates and the first vote is a bust, then that opens up a can of whoopie for sure.

Palin can then become a player.

She could energize the base with just a few words.

Rush likes Rick. I don't see him getting his family values base mad.

Sarah likes Newt. Sarah lends all positive clues toward Newt.

Beck likes Romney. Well, you decide.

Mark likes Rick. A union politican-that one, is unreal to follow NJ and all.

Savage, well, he tends to like Romney.

Coulter trying to steal off repubs voters for Mitt because conservatives see thru Mittens.

No leader-Palin can trump Rush because she actually has the record of being a conservative by her governance. Rush goes back and forth. he covered for Bush when Bush did the no child lefty behind and I was disheartened at Rush. She should campaign with Newt and get this show running in full swing. We need someone as tough as Newt to show the radical agenda vs the american agenda. It almost feels like we are going to end up with Obama. It will take one stern grown up to stand up to the Obama raft. ( we have not seen anything yet-we are talking about the life line of the radicals-giving up their power, by one of these candidates- can you image what we are going to live through) ( Please God, direct the country to bold changes before many of us, just throw in the towel to ever live to see the days of change of the corruption-Sarah, help Newt-- we need you-we are here for you, now we need you at the grassroots) Many of us thought, you would run and now, we are drifting along with no leader to rally behind. Or, get in and run yourself. Game on, time.

Very good analogy Christie. Heard Newt say “the republican establishment want to beat him because he presents a threat to their morbid grip on Washington D.C”
Some of the media big wigs on Fox and on the radio airwaves have become apart of that establishment. Newt is a big threat to them and they dont just want to beat the man..they want to destroy him.

Wow. No one but her could have figured that out. She is our Esther.

And you need to practice your reading comprehension skills.

What was being lauded was that she was saying what everyone knows but refuses to speak.

Try to think a little more deeply before you post - then you won't always have to play catch-up.

I wonder of God is shifting gears, not in "judgment" but in preparation for the end times (the Day of the Lord which begins with frightful judgment). America was never perfect and has always had problems (the most obvious at the founding was slavery, but there were other problems as well). But America has always had a core of praying Christians and still does and God has always come to America's rescue. At some point (now or later) He'll withdraw His hand of support to allow the things He's determined to form in the world. Maybe now is that time.

Many signs point to Jesus coming at any time. The Bible says, "When you see these thing BEGIN to take place, look up, for your redemption draws near."

I guess what I’m saying, really, is a trade-off is coming for those of us who are believers in Jesus Christ: we lose America but we gain Heaven. Not a bad tradeoff. I love America but I’ll let it go for Heaven and Jesus Himself.
