I believe that was the most moving victory moment I’ve ever seen on this show. Wow.

Touching. Cookie’s win was too — wasn’t his bro dying, or just had passed?

Johnny, I’ve been so absent this season, sometimes reading the thread very late and not commenting because it is so hard to re-find your place in the thread again. fR used to take you back to where you were previously in the thread before your comment but now you are always taken back to the top of the loooong page and now I am always on the iPad.

But I want to tell you how special the thread is to me, how FUNNY you and the merry band of regulars are, and how nice it is to have two nights of fun break from real life and enjoy your company.

I wish you did another thread because I will miss you all so much before January. We watch America’s Got Talent on Monday nights. You might look and see If it interests you. They have Howard stern now and he is much better than loser piers Morgan whom Howard replaced.

And the host is nick cannon, who is very sick with lupus and a real sweetie. Tell me f you do a thread on it.

I love you, dude, and just want to say thanks for the joy your thread and you bring to us!! Group hug!!

Going to go order a dark bodysuit to wear all summer, with the thighs cut out, while. Try to lose these pregnancy pounds. Until this finale I thought I couldn’t wear such things. ;)

Jessica Sanchez, runner-up in season 11 of American Idol, is set to receive the lowest payout in the show’s history.

According to The AP, past second prize winners of the Fox singing competition show have received a guaranteed advance of at least $175,000 (£111,000), as well as a full album deal.

However show bosses have produced a new contract in which future runners-up, including Sanchez, will receive between $30,000 (£19,000) to $60,000 (£38,000) in advances for singles or EP records.

The deal also stipulates that winner Phillip Phillips will receive a $300,000 (£190,000) advance upon completion of his first studio album.

He stands to collect up to $800,000 (£510,000) if he is able to qualify for a six-album deal with production company 19 Recordings, who handle all Idol contestants.

Reps for 19 Recordings Inc. and American Idol have declined to comment on the new contracts.
