The government grew tired of a local politician who was a vocal critic. They sat silently as a foreign enemy offered a million dollars to kill him. They even openly sided with the Mexican against him. They next tried to cast him as crazy.
Failing that, they are now using criminal prosecution. I think in this case, A equals A. We have become a police state that uses the tools of state power against political dissent. So for me, the only question is if it is too deeply entrenched to be removed via the ballot box, or will it take an unlimited revolt to restore the constitutional republic?

When Bill Clinton was gov. of Ark, he got sued by Reagan/ Bush DoJ for ordering his state troopers to racial profile.
In settling the suite, Clinton agreed to stop the racial profiling.
Apparently he didn't, so in 1991 with the R King beating and Bush 41 ordering a review of all complaints filed against police with the FBI for the previous 5 years, the Clinton's went into full cover up mode because little Billy was in violation of a court order.
There was about 15,000 complaints and only around 42 cases had been pursued by the DoJ. Bill Clinton was one of them and Hillary has been pissed ever since and she has been trying to pin racial profiling on republicans ever since.
That psycho loves to project.
BC also got himself sued for voter disenfranchisement while he was gov. and psycho Hillary has been trying to pin that on the repubs too.
