Never had a problem with bed bugs, but after reading several horror stories online, my wife and I decided to study up on the subject to be prepared.
After a lot of reading, we settled on Bug-E Spray as the best solution outside of heat treating (which can run $6,000 for an average sized home). The spray isn't cheap either, but if we ever had an infestation, I could certainly afford to start treatment with that, right away.
