Think please for one short moment, of your daily browsing habits.
Honestly.
All of them. Drudge, Michelle Malkin. You name it. Stop and think.
Which one site do you read the most, every single day?... At home. At work (even if you cannot post from there) Where do turn to reflexively, when news breaks, and Fox News Channel is oblivious?
Because you *know* you will find the truth?
When you're bored, where to you go?
Be honest. :D

Seriously, I'd be in deep doo-doo without FreeRepublic. It's such a great source of news, info, opinion, tech, science, cultural comment, religious discussions, everything from cars to guns to spacecraft.... and all presented in a very readable format that never gets in my way.
There simply is nothing like FreeRepublic, and certainly nothing better, anywhere on the intarwebs. Period, end of discussion. It's the best.
From my standpoint, I’d been waiting for Sarah Palin to declare her candidacy, on which day I was intending to contribute 1/2 to her campaign, and 1/2 to FreeRepublic.
I was flat-out gobsmacked when she retreated. Never even considered the possibility. Knocked the wind right out of me.
Now I’m ready to move on. And I’m contributing. Because frankly, there is no better website.
Anywhere.
I am now a monthly donor because I come to FR at least 20 times a day.
The ONLY site that has new articles every few minutes.
The ONLY one.
