They should have included, “We are the innumerate.”
As bad as things are, I think we’re still a long way from seeing 99% of people kicked out of their homes. And I doubt that most of those “Wall St. occupiers” have ever owned a home.

Nicely put. It is crazy how little these people understand about income distribution, wealth distribution, and taxation burden. None of them seem to be holding up signs that say "I'm one of the 47 percent who doesn't pay a penny in federal income taxes", or better yet "I file a tax return, owe the government nothing, and the government sends me a check for my 'credits'." Don't get me started about the guy holding up a sign saying he's a public employee union member and whining about how he's put upon . . . .
