I was planning on watch "Person Of Interest" last night on CBS - but was unable to do so.
The TV promo ads made it appear interesting.
Did anyone out there watch it? Did you like it? Or not? Why?
Thank you!
Usually not my type of show, but I actually liked it.
It’s DVR’ed so haven’t watched it yet. You have to think Jim Caviezel is probably a pretty strong draw. I know that’s the primary reason I am showing any interest in it. It’s sure not the CSI aspect because there’s probably half a dozen shows that use that as the backdrop.
It is a really good show. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, but it has great twists and hopefully some great story arcs being set up.
Also, he lead character literally kicks serious butt multiple times in the first episode.
It almost has the vibe of The Fugitive based on his background. I’m sure with the tie-in to the government that is explained, there will be some of that type of action later in the season.
It is one of the few shows that left me wanting more at the end.
I Tivoed it last night and watched it @2:30 this morning. I recorded the first episode as a test to see if I liked it. I did so I added a season pass.
Is this really the proper forum for something like this? Why not posit this question on a TV site?
I watched it. It has potential but it’s too early to tell for sure.

Agree with all of the above. I had read a less-than-glowing review on-line prior to the show and I've decided the reviewer just didn't like seeing the bad guys get what was coming to them. Multiple plot twists and great action scenes kept it moving while setting up future story lines.
“Human Target” meets SkyNet from “Terminator” with a heavy paranoid influence from “The Conversation”.
They’ll add a female operative before the end of season one (mark my words), probably the black female cop who’s trying to figure him out.
Characters could become interesting and well rounded or flat and shallow. It’ll be interesting to see which.
I need a replacement for C.S.I. which was good with Petersen, not bad with Fishburn, but now has committed suicide as sure as if the producers suck-started a shotgun.
We DVR’d it but my husband saw all of it and loved it, I saw part if it and loved it as well.
However, one scene disturbed me... Jim Caviziel, a devout catholic in real life, was in a scene in bed with another woman and I didn’t see a wedding ring. Now, was he married to her in the show, I don’t know, I didn’t see it all. I hope he hasn’t compromised his values.
If you look just over the persons post, you'll see Topics and Keywords. After Topics it says TV/Movies
Also its under General/Chat not breaking news.
Its also titled VANITY POST
There are ALL SORTS of topics discussed on FR, not just political.
Why read the post and then respond to it?
This forum includes also some non political topics. The longest one was the murder of Anna Nicole Smith and her son. There has also been discussion of “American Idol,” “Dancing With the Stars,” popular songs, what books we read etc. One of my favorites was a series on art history. It was excellent.
I agree with you.
Heard an actress made a fuss over the TV Guide cover showing two men, maybe something about her shown too small compared to the two leads. If this is the female cop, then her part was so small I barely recall her.

Go file a complaint if you don’t like it.
I liked it.
