ROFL!!!
All My Children-- LAST episode today--
What an ending--
My grandma watched this show, so I have had years of exposure....
In high school, my sister and I got hooked. heard the show was ending- so decided to check in this week.
Jackson exits with a "Frankly my Dear" moment to Erica-- but the kicker was the Dallas reference.
Good ol' JR Chandler has a gun, hiding somewhere. Aims at dad- Eric runs after Jackson. Does she step in front of the line of fire?
Gun shot rings out- screen goes black..
LOL!!! Not Who Shot JR-- but who did JR shoot?
Have to admit a funny ending.
other than that-- this week was the epitome of why I stopped watching these shows. Political crap- and SAPPY!
but funny ending
I’m a regular soap watcher. The fans over on the boards are majorly pissed at this “cliffhanger.” Sopranos Part Deux. Still, I loved Jackson finally growing a pair and telling Erica off in Rhett Butler style. She’s used him for almost a quarter-century on the show and has had it coming for a long time.
End of an era. I hear all the soaps are folding.
I thought is was a GREAT ENDING!!
everything else was so sappy— happily ever after BS....
Jackson’s moment was cummuppance
;-)
I wonder what the Soap Network is going to do for content with all the soaps folding?
They no doubt need more room for “reality” TV shows.
Not quite. AMC goes off today, and ABC’s “One Life To Live” at the end of this year. That still leaves “General Hospital” on ABC, “Days Of Our Lives” on NBC and the highest-rated “The Young And The Restless” on CBS along with their half-hour spin-off, “The Bold And The Beautiful.” Still, both AMC and OLTL are expected to start as online shows next year.
of course they are folding....
They have such a lefty agenda all the time....Rich are evil Republicans, who hate gays— abortion is merciful, etc etc...
The only women staying home these days to watch- are moms who choose kids over career- all their lefty chicks are at work!
more interested in their politics than the folks keeping their jobs!
hmmmm— sounds familiar- oh yeah— actors all part of unions as well!
Ah, I don’t mind happily ever after endings... I do wonder how they’ll handle this going to an online format. Since as of now Susan Lucci hasn’t agreed to return, I’m betting she’s the one who was killed by J.R.’s bullet.
oh yeah— soaps are great mindless fun....for the mentally stable....
for the not so stable folks — could be hazardous...
Unfortunately, SoapNet is going off the air shortly (it will become another kiddie Disney Network, as if we need another) once “One Life...” folds. As of this coming Monday, they’ll be replacing AMC with “Brothers & Sisters” reruns.
I’m not in the usual demographics for soap show viewers. 30s, male, straight, not married and a Conservative.
Frankly me dear....
LOL— j/k—
I heard about that online thing too...
that is a lot of folks to pay for an online gig...
maybe if they did netflix?
Bobby died. Oh, wait, no they were dreaming for a whole season! Yikes.
ROFL!!
no— u r not the usual demographic!
honestly— I am shocked that ANY FREEPers would admit to watching any soaps at all— thought I would be flamed all day— LOL!!
ROFL!! CHEERS!
