(Vanity Banglist) Free NRA Membership at Cabela's
http://www.cabelas.com ^

Posted on 09/17/2011 4:48:10 PM PDT by Red in Blue PA

Went to Cabela's today and they had a table set up in the front of the store for the NRA. The price was $25 (lowered from $35) and you also got a $25 Cabela's gift card, a hat, and the magazine.

I let my membership lapse a few years ago but this was a no brainer to sign up for.

Just a heads up for anyone going to Cabela's this weekend.

The NRA is an AARP clone.

The repeal of GCA68 should be at the top of their To Do list.

The fact that it is not is why I let my mmbership expire.

But this really was a no brainer.

Just think of it as giving a middle finger to this administration.

Do you even know who the current President of the NRA is?

A: David Keene, the former head of the American Conservative Union, who was caught selling the ACU endorsement.

Why in the world would you want to subsidize blatant corruption?

As a life member I have a real beef with the NRA-ILA. When they endorsed my Democrat incumbant instead of a A+ rated Republican challenger it really pissed me off at them. I am done being their friend. By the way, their Democrat lost the election.....

The NRA museum makes up for every obnoxious thing they’ve ever done or failed to do. It is an amazing place.

I dropped my membership last winter and I never have gotten a “please come back” letter. Kind of surprised by that - they must be raking in enough for the moment.

I dropped my membership after they endorsed EVERY single lib-commie BASTARD incumbent Democrat in New Mexico.

No more, NRA! You stink!

The NRA endorsed Eric Powell, a state senator from NE Mississippi, whose first act was to try to pass the registration of ammunition along with the help of several other Black Caucus members. Numerous NRA members called the NRA to inform them of the erroneous endorsement but the NRA refused to take our information.

Hearing stories like that make me rethink the value of my free membership.

Nothing's perfect. Here's a few suggestions towards that goal...
