Infamous? What makes one infamous? The number of people they killed? The number of people they affected through history?
This is a lame list.
To: Responsibility2nd
Overweight on the current bogeymen, IMHO. And Marcus Brutus has only one crime to his discredit (some don’t see it as more than conspiracy anyway). I agree part of the list is lame.
Should also have Josef Dhugashvilli and Cesare Borgia on it.

Nero, Domnitian, Caligula...
Just to highlight the bias toward more recent black hats.

Indeed. No Stalin, no Mao, no Pol Pot. That list was crap.
I mean even if you accept that most lefties defend Stalin and Mao, nobody except Chomsky has ever defended Pol Pot.
The very idea that Lee Harvey Oswald made the list is just plain loony. He doesn’t measure up to those standards at all.

Correct on your assessment of the current bogeymen. I know who Borgia was (a little), but I’ll have to go Google Dhugashvilli.
And was Brutus the worst of the Romans? I don’t think so.

You’ll agree about Dhugashvilli when you find out what name he changed to later in life.

What did Genghis Khan do that was so bad? He used brutal tactics - but it is hard to deny their overall effectiveness.
Why is Alexander seen as a hero of antiquity while Genghis Khan is “infamous”?
