You live in a liberal area... many of us hunt for SPORT - and we eat what we kill.

I didn't say hunters didn't eat what they killed but they didn't hunt of necessity in most cases. The monetary cost of the meat per pound far out weighed the best in any butcher shop so hunting was encouraged for population control in the first instance.

That it provided sport and food was very secondary.
