It's said that music hath charms to soothe a savage beast.
Okay, but what exactly does that mean to the owner of the beast who is supposed to pick up the poop?
With that question on the table, I'd like to ask Ted Sturdevant - Director of the State Department of Ecology - to quit trying to snap his fingers inside a plastic bag, and come on down.
Tidy Ted's agency put up $27,000 of taxpayer money to pay for a music video that reminds people that scooping dog poop is a way to improve the water quality of streams that flow into Puget Sound.
That's $27,000 to impress upon people that carrying baggies to put Fido's feces into proper containers is a way to save the earth.

The Washington State budget deficit is HOW big?
Words fail me. Watch the video at the link. To quote Hank Hill, "I don't know whether to laugh or vomit."
Impressive that it was only 27k!
Spending on dog poop was per Obama’s stimulus plan: IT’S A SHOVEL READY JOB!
(Do I win a prize for that one?)
$27,000 for a video too long for anything but Youtube so it will be seen by only .002% of the Puget Sound Dog Owners. Olympia can sure find the dumbest ways to spend money they don’t have.
