Tape may be released. Judge Perry will make this call.
FYI
A jury aware of their rights would have been able to decide for themselves whether it was admissible evidence or not.
Thank the supreme court of 1895 for deciding that “jurors need not be informed of their rights”
Generally speaking, should a jury be able to make the call?
The judge goofed. I wonder if he considered her dancing in a hot body contest while her recently deceased child decomposed, inflammatory? How is it not yet this is?
When the oath says, “The WHOLE truth . .”, they really don’t mean it.
At least she’s consistent. Even in the video it’s all about her and not Caylee.
She’s so incredibly guilty and will likely take her own life or someone will do it for her.
What’s the inflammatory video about....anyone know?
It is her reaction in jail to when the body was found. Conversely, when suspected bones in a large search at Blanchard Park were found she had no reaction...
Yes, it is a jailhouse surveillance tape. I understand there is no audio. When CA was given the information that a body was found in the swamp, she supposedly began hyperventilating, crying, doubled over, and had to be medicated.
I'd like to see this tape but I don't think it will be released.
This should have been left in from the start.
The reason it is infammatory for those who didn’t follow the trial, is that this showed how Casey reacted when she KNEW that her daughters body was found by being told the location.
There were times before when bone had been located and Casey was told they were in places like Blanchard Park. On those times there was no reaction.
On this tape, Casey knew Caylee had been found where she had dumped her, and she reacted with a meltdown. The tears were for herself, not her little girl.
?????????If she was doubled over hyperventilating at the news of her daughters dead body being found. Wouldn’t that have made her more sympathetic to the jury? The article makes it sound like it wouldn’t.
However, I do agree that had it been left in the defense would have used it for the very reason you stated. And with this jury, no doubt they would have succeeded.
Ahhhhh...that explains A LOT!!!
If compared with suspected remains and her reaction to Blanchard Park find (which turned out to be nothing), vs. when the body (unidentified at that point) was found they were remarkably contrasting.
But, I agree, if shown in and of itself it could have worked for the defense in my opinion... At that point, the child was supposedly kidnapped by the nanny, etc etc. as far as the defense was concerned. The defense put forth during the trial didn’t come out to family until 6 weeks before trial they say. Who knows. I think they plotted for three years on the defense.
Gotcha!!! Yea that would surely have sealed her fate...IMHO!!!
I get a feeling her parents, particularly the mother, worked pretty hard to get her acquitted for other reasons. Maybe that was the ultimate goal; kill her eventually. Cindy seems to be a very sick woman in her own regard, and George is less than man in my opinion. Her own words said she does not lose. Just a thought... Rather a good thought I think. Murder suicide. But, poor George would likely be the one convinced to do it by Cindy so she can reap the rewards with no other mouths to feed.
