Correct, and they weren't even that good then. In the 60's or even early 70's they never would have made it. They only became popular at a time when rock was at a very low Ebb. They were never a super group like the Beatles, Stones, ect. and they weren't even an influential group like the Yardbirds or the Byrds. They have no tunes of lasting value like these other groups. In short, they were one of the most overrated groups in rock history. If I've offended some Aerosmith fans, good you need to be offended.

Personally, I love Honkin’ on Bobo. It’s one of those albums I listen to at least once or twice a week in my mix.
