Thats big. Pretty much everyone who gets drafted has the ability to play in the NFL.

It is separated by character, desire, intensity, and luck (not being injured).

I love the order of this draft.

Let's keep it the same next year except the last two teams switch.

A win over GB on Thanksgiving would be awesome. I predict the Lions will be 11-5 at best, 9-7 at worst. Unless Stafford gets hurt again.

“I’m ok with any pick except Fairley or Jimmy Smith.”

I know Fairley’s commitment is questioned, but I saw him make a move in the Championship game that just amazed me.

I don't know how you pass up Ingram if he's still there at #19, which I doubt he will be.

Unless Stafford gets hurt again.

Highly likely.

Oh, that wasnt necessarily the order I have them ranked, just the order they popped into my head. I agree, I would put Solder last. I think I would go:

Castonzo
Carimi
Smith
Sherrod
Solder

Wisconsin OL have a great NFL track record from Bielma and Alvarez.

Taushcer just won a Super Bowl and Joe Thomas could be the best OT in the league.

I also really like Sherrod from what Ive seen of them. Plus, he has the advantage of playing those fast DL in the SEC, so he probably is more polished against outside speed rushers than most.

But I really like Castonzo. BC has as good a track record in the past 10-15 years as anyone (Miami, Michigan, Wisconsin). Their guys come out with a nasty streak, and that is big for OT’s. Its why I love Colombo. He is losing his ability, but he still wants to fight guys after every play.

OL would be a waste. McKinney is a beast and Loadholt will probably be a good OT for a decade. Add that to Sullivan and Hutchinson, and Minnesota has a good OL (health providing) for the next few years.

McKinney is terrible. He was the main reason Favre had so much trouble last year -- he simply could not trust the man guarding his blind spot. Hutchinson was hurt most of the year, as was Sullivan, so those positions were held down by backups. Loadholt shows great promise but took a significant step backward last year. They need line help and will need a new left tackle sooner rather than later. Naturally, though, the buzz is that they will go d-line, which would be the worst pick they could make other than a running back.

Another interesting draft strategy for you guys would be to pick up a first round defensive lineman to make Suh even BETTER (fewer double teams). One of the analysts on the NFL network said there are 7 genuine first round DLs out there.

He was the main reason Favre had so much trouble last year.

I think the main reason Favre had so much trouble last season is because the man's 600 years old.

It kind of hampers your mobility outside the pocket.

I believe the story of the night will be the high number of SEC players taken early.

Oh...I don’t disagree; I just believe our needs are elsewhere. I think Ingram will likely go 14 or 15, or even to the Pats, but if he’s still there, I would not be disappointed to grab him. He is a legacy, after all...

This draft might mean zilch, nadah, nothing if certain legal things happen.
In that case they would all just be free agents to negotiate with anyone they want.

Looks like Newton is going #1 to Carolina. A mistake in my opinion but only time will tell. Fans don’t like the commish.
