In a sign of just how frantic and disoriented the White House is over rising gas prices, it announced Thursday that it tasked Attorney General Eric Holder with investigating “potential violations of criminal or civil laws” in the energy markets. In other words, it was making a show about telling Holder to do what is the attorney general’s job anyway.
What was conspicuously lacking from the White House announcement was any data that there was any kind of fraud actually being perpetrated.

I believe that Obama thought he had a mandate to do this an that the voters would support these prices. They are scrambling to figure out what to do when it turns out it is not supported.

Is the Attorney General going to investigate the affects of the Federal Reserve's QE2 program on oil prices?
He certainly will find that it is unconstitutional and simply not allow it to be enforced any more than any other law this Pharaoh does not like.
I remember when the worst scandal in the AG’s office was whether Bush fired a few attorney’s to put his own people in there. Then Obama did it to even more, and no one cared anymore.
Now the AG won’t enforce the laws we have and starts lawsuits to keep the states from trying to protect themselves from illegal immigration.
This country cannot abide the presence of so many people who do not believe in our form of government.

I didn’t know Holder had a degree in Politcal Theater: cause the problem and search for scapegoats to blame. I know the public is incredibly stupid, but as dumb as they are, most should be able to connect the dots here.
