Like most conservatives, I like Ann Coulter but disagree with her from time to time, i.e. her embarrassingly naive adoration of N.J. Governor Chris Christie - a RINO. I never thought Ann Coulter was anorexic, just a tall, naturally slender woman with genes that gave her a high metabolism rate. Remember, she never gave birth, either, which can make a difference. Ask any mother. Frankly, I never understood the caterwauling from conservatives about Coulter’s slim build, as if it somehow insulted them. Well, perhaps for those who fight unwanted weight gain. Otherwise, I think she looks fine but of course, that’s a subjective opinion. In any case, even with her endorsement of some politicians that I disagree with, Ann Coulter remains a valuable spokesperson for political conservatism.

Anyway, conservatives shouldn’t throw Ann under the bus for an occasional quirk. But doesn’t “Mid-Atlantic accent” refer to William F. Buckley’s nasality? There’s something to the Kate Hepburn comparison (who was regarded as lanky and handsome rather than truly beautiful). Ann aggravates liberals and slices them up for a midday snack, and that’s the important thing.
