Not trying to be a wise guy, but seriously - how many “short eagle putt misses” have you or almost anyone ever had at the Masters? Did you see the approach shot he stuck to “choke” on ... I’m sorry, it’s hard to say this ... but, the “short eagle putt choke?”

You’re right. I just never heard the expression “choked on an eagle putt before.” Maybe because I never had a ball that close to the pin on par five - and neither have most people. It’s kind of like a “missing the bulls eye by a foot from eight hundred yards” complaint.
