I think the Cookie was the best idol winner ever. And such a sweet nice guy. He grew so much on the show. He had such a voice, and there were quite a few goosebump performances.

I guess I am the only person on here who has appreciation for Jacob. I mean, I cringed when he swung his hips in his singing number too, but I see no evidence that he is pushing the gay agenda. He seems like a good kid. But I did get the feeling that the other contestants would rather have seen him go. He might not fit in as well as cute little Ricky. I was also a fan of him, but it was his time to go.
Little Ricky was cute and sweet. And he’s got a good voice.

David Archuleta blew David Cook out of the water. Cook is a middling, mediocre talent and an incredibly boring performer.
Jacob should sing “So Far Away.” James should sing “Don’t Bring Me Down.”

1. Netizen mentioned that the new show, "The Voice", starts next Tuesday. From the promos it looks interesting. When AI was on 3 nights a week, we had three threads. Can I suggest that jonny start a VOICE thread next Tuesday (and ping the AI list to it) see if there's enough interest. If jonny doesn't want to host that thread, then someone else can step up..if not..if folds...but worth trying..and you should probably ping the AI on onday to let them know what you're gonna do.
2. The pairings for the bottom 3, when Ryan set it up, left no suspense. No drama. Everyone knew who was going tot he stools. You could see Haley's body language whe she was called up.
3. Four nights now with NO SPARKLEEZ!! Whassupwifdat?
4. If anyone has time before next week, could we get a side by side of Casey and Conan O'Brien. Casey's trimmed his beard..they're almost identical. I wonder if Conan decides to try and influence the voting..
5. I actually watched the entire Katie Perry whatever is was..and I am dumdfounded. I DON'T GET IT. NOR DO I WANT TO. EVER.

Hi, SJ. Been watching the big tv. Everyone I voted for on Wednesday night got through. Bye, bye, Stefano. He can sing at malls - he was good on Wed. but he’s not unique.
Isn’t the country show the one on Friday nights on CMT? That’s the AI country show. I thought you knew about it. They also rerun it at oddball times.

Why not any song from the twentieth century. That would separate the talent from the wannabees. The toughest songs were written in the 20th century. : )
