ALSO :
* Gone with the Wind was rated as the top film of all time with The Wizard of Oz runner-up.
* The most popular film line of all time — Rhett Butler says: Frankly my dear, I dont give a damn.

I agree and that’s all I got to say about that.

Stupid lib movie for idiots. Gary Sinse is a good guy and helps military vets. The rest of the film and Forest Gump is s**t.

Voted by whom? People who can relate to such a character?
Obama won an election, so I suppose anything is possible.

Going to show it to my 12 and 14 yr olds on Sat night actually—we ate at a “Bubba Gump Shrimp” restaurant last weekend and they asked to see the movie. . .

Forrest Gump was just one movie. It was a good movie, but still...
To qualify for the greatest movie character, there must be more than just one film.
Take the James Bond movies, for instance. Roger Moore qualifies over Gump any day.

I don’t think characters originating in books should count; much more difficult to develop a character through a screenplay (i.e. made for the movies).

Clint Eastwood’s “man with no name” cowboy character is the best of all time. “There’s two kinds of people in this world Tuco, those with loaded guns and those who have to dig. You dig.”

My favorite would have to be Gary Cooper as Sgt. York.

Sh**, the film was good, but over all it was a commercial supporting liberal causes.
