The video below is one of those internet movies that become viral. It shows a fat kid (in Australia) being bullied, punched a few times till he finally decides to fight back. Like most of these viral videos, the viewer can figure out what led to this point in the story. It is obvious that this wasnt the first time the fat kid in this video was bullied; it was simply the first time he stood up to the bully.
WATCH THE (pretty awesome) VIDEO
This video touched me greatly because, well when I was growing up, I was that fat kid. And this video reminded me of the first time I stood up to a bully, I didnt get suspended from school like the fat kid in the video, but it did lead to my Mom (of blessed memory) punching the bullys mom in the face.

That was back when they had real moms.LOL
“BOR was upset that the “fat kid” could have seriously hurt the bully”
The first time I watched the video I thought the little kid was fighting back for something that occurred before the filming started and the bigger kid was the bully.
I still don’t understand how a bigger kid could be bullied by a smaller kid physically.
Name calling, mental, and social bullying (which are often times more harmful in the long run) I can understand. How in the world do you let yourself get punched all the time by someone you can literally pick up and toss around like a rag doll?
Must be a personality thing.
Personality, yes, but also he’s been taught pacifism by his parents. To turn the other cheek. He’s been trying to do what his parents have told him to do. Hard to blame a kid for being obedient.
When I was that age we had a saying:
“Better pick on somebody your own size next time.”
Ouchie baby.
I’m 6 1/2 feet tall and have a HUGE skeletal frame. I was warned as a young teen-age to stay out of fights as I could, even in self-defense truly injure someone. When as a sailor I had the most boring SHORE PATROL duties because no one, even the drunkest, wanted to try me out. I’m thankful because I’m quite passive and happy about it.
Call me names, I think you are stupid, get physical and I am the one on my feet, and in trouble with the law.
One of my dad’s brothers loved to tease. My dad told a story of growing up in Western Canada in the 1920s/early 30s and walking home from school across the property of a Ukranian farmer. The Ukranian family had a rather obnoxious child who enjoyed attaching himself to the older kids as they walked home. At any rate, there were a lot of goat droppings on the path as they walked and my uncle tried to convince “Mikey” to pick them up and try the “raisins.”
Fortunately Mikey wasn’t stupid and he didn’t try the road raisins. He did, however, run home to his mom who came out and caught my uncle by the ear to make sure he heard her. My dad could do the accents really well - he really enjoyed telling this one on his little brother.
Anyway, Mrs. *Stovchovik* (I’ve forgotten her real name) grabbed my uncle by the ear and yelled at him in her less-than-perfect English,
“You tell my Mikey eat cheet!”
“You eat cheet! You beeger! You hold more!”
Maybe because he didn’t want to smash the little bitch’s bones into the ground until he had no other choice but to do that.
Good for him. Had it been me, I would have knee dove him after he landed to drive my point home even further.
I have no sympathy for the little kid. I just hope he’s able to learn a lesson from this.
the first time i saw this (earlier in the week) i was impressed that the big kid (Casey, i think) didn't keep hurting the little punk after he dropped him... he dropped him and walked away... haha! i read someone's comment that said the little punk was walking all "bambi" afterward... i thought that was funny... they are both lucky that the big kid didn't drop the punk on his head...
If you watch the video, there is a kid that walks up to the fat kid in a threatening manner. These two are then separated by a third person.
I believe that it was this kid lurking in the shadows that was backing up the little kid.
It probably is a personal thing. When I was kid, I attended a Military school. Some bullying went on but not for long. We had one kid in our company like the big kid in the video. He had a personal problem where he would crap in his pants. Many kids picked on him all the time. Until.....some of us got together and protected him. It wasn’t his fault, he just had a problem. The kid turned out to be a really good guy and learned to stand up for himself once he saw us taking on the other kids. Some kids just don’t know how to fight....it takes something like this to show them that they can defend themselves.
We used to get harassed all the time simply for being female in the Middle East. One time, my sister was on her roller skates when some little twit began to harass her. She had simply had enough. The instant he touched her, she skated right into him, felled him, put her foot on his neck with his skinny little neck between the front and back wheels and let out a barrage that he listened to without even trying once to move. That’s a pretty image in my mind.
Scut Farcus!
That’s pretty funny. LOL
“He had yellow eyes! So, help me, God! Yellow eyes!”
Back in my fraternity in college one of the frat brothers was a 6’ 4” 320lb OT on the football team. He was the nicest guy around. Never looked to confront anyone. So one day this smaller guy tries to take advantage of him by pushing him more than once. The big guy just kept telling him to stop before he got mad. The little guy told him he did not have the guts to make him stop. Long story short, the smaller guy ended up thru the wall up to his chest out stone cold.
