What it it hits Berkley
It cant. Apparently youve never driven into Berkeley, cause if you had, youd know there are great big signs at the city limits which proclaim that Berkeley is a Nuclear Free Zone.
That works? I’m gonna put up some “Snow Free Zone” signs.

They’ve also got a sign that says “Drug Free Zone”. That one, I’m not so sure it works as well.

Earthquake tsunami and now radiation, can Gamera or Mothra be far behind
To: La Enchiladita
especially for the young and elderly.
How about minorities? Aren’t they going to be hit hardest?
The elderly. If anything they are the LEAST affected. Do you really have to worry that an 80 year old has a .5% increased chance of getting cancer in 10 years?

RADIOACTIVE MONSTERS
To: frogjerk
Just had the stranges cry for help from a relative out of California (Honeydew).
He’s a big time pot smoking and heavy drinking guy that’s worried about the radiation comming his way. Didn’t really know how to approach that one, stayed on topic and avoided mentioning the irony in this situation.

Wonder how that goes down in Sebastopol CA a town that tends to support environmental policies.
In 1986, the citizens approved an initiative declaring Sebastopol a "Nuclear Free Zone", The town does not use pesticides in city landscaping, and several years back, when the police needed a new vehicle, the city council voted to purchase a hybrid instead of a standard police car.
Current issues facing the city include a high cost of living and ongoing difficulties with traffic (the town has two highways going through downtown).
Other big issues are free help for illegals, banning plastic bags in supermarkets and public drumming.
