Your belief does not make it truth. Not everyone who might want to serve can meet the physical requirements of the all volunteer forces. I know three without even thinking on it: two with irregular heart beats (one asthmatic besides), one with scoliosis. There are many able bodied who don't serve to be sure but there are also those whose spirit is willing but not blessed with bodies to match.
I’m speaking of those who had no obvious medical issue and were offering an excuse. I’ve encountered far too many in my lifetime. If you didn’t serve, fine, but don’t give me some lame excuse as to why you couldn’t.
