Amidst all the Charlie Sheen craziness that has been happening lately, there is still the tiny matter of one of CBS' biggest shows, "Two and a Half Men." Production has halted for the season, though the crew members are getting paid for four episodes they are not actually shooting.
But what about next year? Will CBS try to keep it on the air with a new lead actor opposite Jon Cryer? It looks like the producers are at least trying to feel it out. People is reporting that producers are in talks with Rob Lowe to join the sitcom.
Lowe joined NBC's "Parks and Recreation" as a series regular this season, but "Parks and Rec's" ratings are never through the roof and NBC often does not seem to know what to do with it. A jump to the most-watched comedy on TV would not be a bad move for Lowe, although creatively we think he is getting to do really great stuff on "Parks."

Rob Lowe: Understudy to a satyr. But a certifiable “lowe”ilife in his own right.
LOL!!! It will simply be an instance of comedy that will has a high probability of repeating itself.
The irony never stops!
I think he’s cleaned up his act.Lowe I mean....

Correct. One scumbag replacing another scumbag.
I tried watching “Two And A Half Men” some years ago. There was a “Cringe Factor” to it and I didn’t like show or the content.
My wife and I wouldn’t let our teenage son watch it either.
That’s the power of the remote control.
I agree...rude behavior and talk from the kid...and the fact that Charlie is just downright annoying and arrogant made it uncomfortable to watch, even by myself
So are they going to write a whole storyline for the show, about why Charlie is no longer one of the two and half men. Or will it be like the the old Bewitched, where the old Darren was simply replaced with a new actor, hoping no one notices. If they need a plot as to why Charlie is not there anymore for the show, I’m sure some freepers can help with that. :)
Casting Rob Lowe makes more sense that John Stamos.
West Wing.
M-O-O-N. That spells The Stand.

Ditto!
Can we use photoshop or something to insert Lowe into Wall Street, Platoon, Major League, Hot Shots, etc
He has some cameo’s in Californication as of current.
How ‘bout Ted McGinley ?
The thing that you don't understand is that Charlie has been suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from being a pretend Vietnam Veteran. He is a patriot who served his country by pretending to be a Vietnam soldier in an Oliver Stone film. Shame on you all of you for making fun of poor Charlie. Leave Charlie alone! Leave him alone!

There’s no replace Charlie Sheen on the show, period. Having that said, Warner Bros needs to kill Two and Half Men. But not before they have some fun with it, like a couple of episodes explaining why Charlie is no longer there.
