Yes, but this is a unique situation. I don’t think anybody in Hollywood in recent memory has self-destructed to the degree that Charle Sheen has.

To me a character, like the one Sheen plays, is only funny if you know the guy is just acting a part. When it’s actually pretty real, it loses a lot of its charm.

I suspect that those stations that have contracts will honour their contract and then not renew and those that haven’t signed contracts to carry the show won’t pick it up.

Syndicated shows are sold to local stations to fill their non-affiliated times.

So I agree it might be harder to sell the show in some markets. Especially if viewers express their disgust with the show being on the local station.
