I guess I have a high tolerance for pain.

She’ll flare the ears back, bare the fangs and then “chomp!” and hold onto the meat joining my finger and thumb. Meanwhile all four paws will be scraping my forearm.

After holding for about 15-20 seconds, she’ll relax and then give my hand a good dozen appreciative licks.

My forearm will have dermal scrapes...and the junction where bitten will have very slight punctures.

My friends female cat will do the exact same thing...and stalk me as well...communicate...etc...

Sounds like our friend's cat, except...

.."so I find this shinny thing right where I left it, after taking it to play with and the next thing I know she's all excited...changes my litter, I get extra treats, a new toy, she washes that smelly dog,and she forgives me about that dead mouse incident....women, go figure"

You also don't want to know what she does to "stray" hearin aides she "finds" in closed drawers...

Mine only steal and play with foam ear plugs.

Beaux usually lays on the table in my arms while I try to read FreeRepublic or attempt to type one-handed.

Via the gateway to Mundania in the Isthmus, of course. Not sure how she got from there to SD, though.

She still has speech problems, but if one pays careful attention, they get her messages.

My wife laughs her a$$ off when she hears me holler “No, you are not going to walk across the keyboard” usally followed by a “Dammit” :^)

I know! What IS it with them? And no matter how many times I physically pick him up off the keyboard, as soon as I leave the table, he sometimes jumps up and starts pounding on it like he’s sending a kitteh-gram! I rush back and sometimes I see stuff on my screen that I have NO idea what he typed to get there. Gotta love ‘em!

Okay... not my analysis but hubby says “classic case of pussy manipulating pussy”. Typical guy.

Of the five we have *Prissy* is the attention hog. She has to be where you are and watching your every move.
If you walk by without petting her, a paw will flash out tapping you demanding to be acknowledged. Prissy is the right name for her.

Naw, it would be tuna fish for our little crew. Not cat tuna fish either, but people tuna fish.
They have their standards.

Alas, thanks to “tuna flavored” (the only way it comes) thyroid medication, ours are not at all happy with anything tuna...even the 2 out of 3 that DON’T get medicated.

Sardines or salmon, OTOH, is a totally different story.
