And he told us this in his campaign speeches, like in his “share the wealth” to that plumber guy. And his “now is not the time for profits” to the Wall Street folks. And my favorite:

“It’s time to fundamentally change the way that we do business in Washington. To help build a new foundation for the 21st century.....”

Note that it is a NEW foundation. And before you put in a new foundation, you need to tear down the old foundation - along with the structure that rests upon it.
