A voice of reason.
I'm in the Middle East and I'm not losing any sleep over all of these predictions.
And, as you referenced:
Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself said: "But of that day or hour no man knoweth, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father").
I always chuckle at those who are predicting that the end is near. It's good to be prepared, but to follow false prophecy can be dangerous.
I'll stick with what Jesus said.
Glenn never said the end is near, he said Islam is getting ready to, and very quickly, mount a world wide war against the west, surely even you can see that? He made no mention of the Bible or end times, why are you confusing the two?
"A prudent man foresees the difficulties ahead and prepares for them; the simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences."
(Proverbs 22:3)
Stay safe!!
I remember that, and I always read your posts with interest for that reason.
With the effort to take down Mubarak and maybe the king of Jordan simultaneously, what do things look like from where you sit? Does it complicate things at all, or just more noise?
Chuckle if you will but look first at what Jesus said just prior to the quote you used.
Matthew 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
>>I'll stick with what Jesus said.<<
You might want to compare your words above with Jesus words in verse 33 then.
