A fourth-grader from Arizona City who was mauled by three dogs ...bitten in the neck, torso, shoulder and legs. Jason had just gotten off a school bus Wednesday afternoon with his 5-year-old brother and two other children when he stopped to tie his shoe and the other children began yelling about the approaching dogs, Prisoc said.
“He looked up and he told the other kids to keep going, just keep going, and he was telling the dogs to back away,” Prisoc said. “He was walking backwards when the dogs attacked him and took him to the ground and just viciously attacked him.
The dogs were mauling him when the other children returned and began kicking at the animals, said Tim Gaffney, a spokesman for the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office. Alerted neighbors beat the dogs with baseball bats and a chair, finally freeing Jason.

Someone said Chet’s working at a pitbull rehabilitation center funded by the Philadelphia Eagles.
It’s not just pitbulls that attack unprovoked.
There have been some nasty, vicious attacks involving multiple dogs which separately were quite nice family dogs. Pack behavior had its own dynamic, and a sweet family dog can become something else entirely when in a pack of dogs.
The main point I want to make is that there is a reason for dogs to be behind stout, secure fences or in inescapable dog runs. Dog owners should be criminally liable if the dogs are purposefully loosed.
I would expect at the least these dog’s owner(s) will pay for the boy’s medical expenses.

Chet is now sharing a basement apartment in Rio Linda with Mobile Vulgus and DannyH, who they both respect - a lot.
The hogs ate him.
The weird thing is that it actually looks like it could exist, somewhere.
I see.
Maybe they were what kept nibbling my toes in Currituck NC.
Specially bred, they are, to replace those pedicure goldfish, now illegal in Florida and several other states.
These guys are especially effective on fungus nails and tough calluses.
I think they were just trying to ~eat~ my tiny little kid toes.
