It’s miserable to be behind someone in line at the C-store who is buying a fistful of the things. Takes forever to scan them. Don’t know why it’s so much hassle.
It’s just one barcode selling another barcode. Maybe there’s a feedback loop, or something.
What's really miserable is being behind somebody cashing in or buying lottery tickets, and buying cigarettes; until you remember that without those two items the store probably couldn't make it.
