Maybe I’m just paranoid, but I’ve seen so many horror stories of rich people getting ripped off by financial advisors, I think that if I had that kind of money, I’d hire an advisor to give me day-to-day advice, and then pay some big financial house (like Fidelity) to look over my books on a regular basis and just flag me if anything looked funny. I can’t imagine that level of oversight would cost too much and it could prevent somebody from milking me like a cow.
For an expert opinion though, I'd talk to Donald Trump.
I wouldn't call you paranoid. "Financial advisor" is as trustworthy as "politician."
