My brief reply should have been clearer in addressing Rush's comparison. A military unit acting under the color of authority vs the lone (?) gunman. Body count isn't the issue. Motivation or the driving force is. From previous posts we seem to be in agreement that Islam must be eliminated from this planet and current and recent administrations have been complicit in bringing more of these monsters to our shore under humanitarian pretexts.

Our security apparatus seems to rush forward after the fact to provide chalk outlines and announce that they had gathered all the links down to Walmart purchases by the assailants, etc, but unable to link such data to provide a realistic threat assessment and to act on such.
Prior to the hodge-podge of Homeland Security Czardom, nearly every islamic violent event has been preceded bybred flags popping up that LEO ignored or dismissed as irrelavent.
As an example, prior to the 1993 truck bomb at WTC, the NY joint FBI/NYPD anti-terror unit had a walk-in moslem informant that tied the eventual bombers to a Mosque across the Hudson in NJ. That unit could not pursue the NJ ties because of FBI administrative boundaries.
