The whole concept of a “hidden” defense is so illogical. I never denied when I was defending Romney; I never denied when I was defending Rudy, or Huck, or Thompson, or any candidate I defended when I thought an attack was inaccurate.

I don’t see how anybody who looks over my posting history would ever think I was somehow shy or mysterious about my beliefs or opinions. I like my opinions, and don’t want to hide them. It would be stupid to be otherwise.

Maybe you are confusing that with endorsements or being with a campaign, charges sometimes thrown about with no factual basis. I never really had “a candidate” in 2008. I had about 5 candidates I felt I could support (later 4, as I got turned off by Huckabee). Of those 4, I gave money to three (the least to Romney — I only gave to him so his “individual donor” count would be higher, as I figured he had enough of his own money). I actively collected signatures for 2. I never got to vote for any of them when it mattered.

Some people around here must lie about their intentions, because so many freepers insist that people are lying all the time (do you lie about what you believe, because you certainly seem to think that’s a normal thing?)

I don’t lie about what I think, or believe. I don’t have an agenda beyond truthfully saying exactly what I think, subject of course to whatever rules the forum has about what things I am allowed to speak about.

I’ll correct the lies, but most of the stuff I don’t really care about since it’s just anonymous people throwing out baseless accusations. I do however get a bit serious when people make such a base accusation as to suggest I am going to lie about what I believe. It’s just not something that even makes sense to me to do; it’s not in my nature.

Yet you are famous for doing that, except we would describe it as "sly" and "devious", "slippery".

Those of us that went through the Romney wars here, know you and your pro-Romney style very well.

You could call on your romneybot friends to support you, but most of them have been banned.
