The wife had jury duty at the Douglas County courthouse in Castle Rock, Colorado yesterday. She found they, too, now have the backscatter nude imaging machines, and they are mandatory.
So, to excercise our constitutional rights to the courts or to appear as mandated by the court we must submit to a strip search and radiation.
According to the TSA web site, these machines are also in other courthouses throughout the country.
Just thought you should know.

Mandatory? How about those for jury duty who have pacemakers, knee/hip replacements, foot surgery pins, etc?

I think this may be the answer to overlitigation and frivolous lawsuits.

Oh boy, somebody else to slap a lawsuit against. And a courthouse? Hee hee hee that place is packed with lawyers angry at having to go through the thing every morning!
So who owns the companies or contractors who are supplying these? Who is making profit?
