I know many of you don't click over to google.com but just take a look. At first glance, the flag is nice but look a bit closer and you'll see the red crescent. I'm not buying that it is yet another optical illusion.
Yep, a red crescent with the star from the American flag.
Along those lines, take a look at the “T” logo in the New York Times online. There’s a star and crescent there, too.
To make up for it, I've posted this link to the story about the only KIA from my high school.
American Radioworks - Vietnam tapes of Michael Baronowski.
There is a particularly tragic background story that goes along with these tapes. Michael never graduated with the class, exactly. He received his diploma at the state mental hospital. When Michael was in ninth grade, he thought he was a car, went around the halls making car noises, stopping at the water fountain for a fill up. Kids thought it was a joke. It wasn't. Evidently Mike had dreams of going into radio or tv news. Some people think that he may have actually believed he was a war correspondent. We'll never know, but he should never have been in Vietnam.
How about the “red cresent” being the bottom of the letter “e” the top half of which is covered up by the flag.
damn google and all their emloyees.
LLS
I read it backwards, and all I got was a strange Spanish-sounding name; El Goog.
Since we're playing word games, here's a fun song involving palindromes.
Miss him, Miss him, Miss him
Party pooper.
