But, I still don't see the cause of death mentioned anywhere in this article:
NEW YORK (CBS) Lisa Blount, an Academy Award-winning producer and actress born in Arkansas, has died at the age of 53. According to the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, Blount was found dead Wednesday at her home in Little Rock by her mother. Her husband, actor and director Ray McKinnon, was out of town this week. Pulaski County Coroner Garland Camper told the newspaper that there were no signs of foul play. He said Blount appeared to have died on Monday. Blount is best known for playing Debra Winger's friend, Lynette Pomeroy, in the classic 1982 film "An Officer and a Gentleman," which earned her a Golden Globe nomination for best supporting actress. In 2001, she won an Oscar for best live-action short film as producer of "The Accountant." Her husband directed and starred in the film. Other film credits include "Great Balls of Fire," "Box of Moon Light," and the 2004 movie "Chrystal," which also starred actor Billy Bob Thornton. Born in Fayeteville, Blount and her husband moved to Little Rock in 2005.
These "reporters" should get another job.
God rest her soul.
That is in a post by a Freeper Chris. I have no doubt it is correct, but the article mentions nothing about cause of death.
The picture in the article you linked shows the wrong woman.
I think you are correct. There is no way that is her "at the 25th Independent Film Spirit Awards on March 5, 2010 in Los Angeles."
Geez Louis! Can CBS screw this article up any further?
The poor woman is dead. At least get something right.
RIP.
Quick googled ITP it is a rare clotting blood disorder.
