according to multiple reports, the receiver, who was reportedly cut by the Vikings on Monday afternoon, wasn't on the NFL's waiver wire for Monday afternoon. If Moss were to be waived, the Vikings would have had to have done so by 4 p.m. on Monday.

What a creaking mess
Probably a sign that Childress is hanging on by a thread.
Sure glad I’m not a Vikings fan. Between their handling of Favre and Moss, that team has become a laughingstock.
They have a real bad discipline issue there. Isnt really a surprise for me though. That coach has had issues with that for a long time.
Hanging Chad, meet Hanging Chilly.
I know Moss is a handful but wow someone must really be angry at him to just toss him off the team.
I mean think about it... some players have actually killed people and not got tossed from a team!
Bet my wife would like to have him on her team. She tells her friends Im no deep threat. Cant handle the long ball. Straight from the warmups to the 2 minute warning. :-))
The Vikings organization is almost as screwed up as the White House.
RE: that team has become a laughingstock.
Oh, contrare. As any Packer fan can tell you, they have always been a laughingstock.

Isn’t this the same team that didn’t get their draft pick in on time a few years back? What a mess.
Looks like Leslie Frazier will be promoted to head coach at some point.
Too bad, I was hoping the Cowboys would hire Frazier, but Childress is proving to be just as sorry as Wade Phillips.
I love watching people who pick up snakes and complain when they are bitten.
Sounds like he called the coach out for not listening to his advice.....
maybe owner Ziggy overuled Major Dad.
“that team has become a laughingstock.”
The Broncos are giving them a run for their money...
Moss is one of the problems and the coach letting him spout off is another. Farve is the other problem. That is why he didnt stay in GB. Cant have a player with his own personal locker room within the team locker room. Either its a team or it is not. And if it is not, then order suffers.
Aside from his time as a drug addict and drunk, his cheating on his wife with cancer, his fake retirements and refusal to show up for training camp, his pouting and fighting with coaches and management, his limited willingness to take coaching and now his sexting problems, the Packers aren’t missing anything by being rid of Brett Favre.
As soon as he won a Super Bowl, his ego exploded and he’s gone on one self-destructive binge after another.
Good riddance - we don’t miss you in Green Bay.
The Green Bay Packers made the right decision to go with the younger Rodgers who should give them years of good service. He ain’t no Favre but either is Brett anymore. Out with the old and in with the new.
Brad Childress is probably gone.
