To: Seven plus One

Those were actually pretty cool cars and fast for their era, despite the very unfortunate bathtub styling. New and different sold for a few years in the immediate postwar era no matter what, but some manufacturers lacked the resources to retool. So, some of the more wide of the mark looks lived long past their sell-by date.

Sounds like the story of Harley-Davidson right up to the eighties. But Studebaker, now there's a badge that shouldn't have croaked. Not troll-related, I know, but the '53 and up Hawks were some gorgeous cars.
