Aloha! There is a new online poll for Hawaii's governor's race. Right now, the main actual polls (and as it happens, this particular online poll) have the two main candidates neck-and-neck.
Even Daily Kos ran a poll recently that had Republican Duke Aiona in a dead heat with super leftwing liberal Democrat Neil Abercrombie (former Vietnam protester, member of Democratic Socialists of America, and leftover hippie).
PLEASE PLEASE take a moment and go to the website The Maui News (mauinews.com) and vote for the Republican, Duke Aiona. He is Hawaii's best hope to get a responsible governor in there to hold the line on taxes, protect family values, and encourage local businesses.
There’s a good chance the GOP will pick up the Hawaii Governorship next week.
you want to joemiller this poll? :)
(joe miller got caught freeping online polls)
Working full steam here in Hilo. On the phones until 9pm. We’re calling Oahu now because we finished our calls for the Big Island. Duke & Lynn will be here for their round-the-island bus tour on Friday, culminating with a rally of Christians at the Civic Auditorium Friday night. It’s going to be one hell of a long 8 day week, including the 14 hour day poll watching. I’m running the 3rd District, with 7 polling locations. May God shine His blessings on our efforts, Proud2B. How are you doing on Maui?
I freeped the poll that counts the most this morning (early voting at Kapolei Hale). Probably the most crowded I’ve seen early voting in our 7 years here as official “Hawaii” residents.
FYI, please pass along this info for those who want to get involved in the campaign in Hawaii. We need volunteers!

I'm on Oahu, actually, but noticed this on a post in a supporter's Facebook status, so I was trying to get the word out. We gotta pray every day and WIN every day until Nov. 2!
BUMP!
I hope the entire 25th ID is at home and not having to rely on absentee ballots. My son was with 27-2 for three years (including 15 months in Iraq).
Except don’t most active duty soldiers claim residency in states with lower taxes, provided they’ve lived there long enough?
