I'd love to know who picked out these gawd awful outfits. Ill fitting jackets and flaired trousers??? And how come there is very little red, white and blue? Where's the patriotism like we saw in 2008 when Paul Azinger was captain?!?

The pre-tournament outfits look better than the ones they’ll compete in. It’s going to be tough to beat this European squad on their home turf. Fortunately, Colin Montgomerie is holding it against Paul Casey and Justin Rose that they play so much here in the states, therefore he didn’t make them captain’s selections.

Pavin was an idiot for picking Tiger who has been playing crappy golf. Probably due to lack of HGH and steroids.
Furyk is $11 million richer. Kuchar has been red hot. I am not sure if bombers like Bubba and Johnson will help. Ditto Phil.
The US teams has some good players but Europeans are red hot.

Huh? I get the one world order but most of the guys standing on the plane ladder are pretty good guys who donate a lot to charity except creepy pimp boy. Most are also family men with no criminal convictions.

All the 6 TV networks in the USA have Saudi shareholders, business partners, joint venture partners including Fox. TV controls the masses and idiots watch TV because they support it by watching.
I am not as doubtful as some over this ream's chances. In years past, when American golfers dominated the regular season; they'd go over and choke in the Ryder Cup. This year, the Americans have pretty much stunk up the place; so maybe this is their Ryder year.
Kaymer is a real talent. Fortunately, Monty left Casey and Rose off the squad.
Sorry, but no one on the US team screams metrosexual, except, maybe Rickey Fowler. They’re trying to be ‘hip’ but none of them are. These clothes are going to look stupid on most of these guys.

I agree with you about picking Tiger, although my guess is Corey was pressured into picking him. I would’ve picked JB Holmes. He’s been playing well again and played well at Valhalla 2 years ago. It’s not a coincidence that the USA is 1-4 in Ryder Cups Tiger has played in.
I had to look twice to see recognizable faces to see this was not an old pick from the ‘70s. Not only are they wearing bell bottomed Sears stretch slacks, 1/2 of the dudes have long hair and old style ray bans. Some guys got crew cuts. I swear this is from 1972 or 1973.
And has been a crappy Ryder Cup performer (10-13-2). I really don't understand Pavin's decision at all. He had the perfect opportunity to not pick him when Tiger laid an egg right before the selection.
