You can get a wireless keyboard for the PS3. I have used mine to FReep.

I imagine it’s piracy that destroyed the PC game market.

If its piracy then both the 360 and the Wii should be down in the dumps too since its quite easy to mod them for pirated software to work. Only the PS3 has so far been uncrackable, yet all 3 consoles are still popular.

Piracy is a red herring that the entertainment industry likes to drag out every once in a while, I dare say 90% of the people who pirate the games would not have bought them anyway, thus there was no magical billion dollar revenue losses or whatever they like to drum up.

The problem is that consoles are so much 'easier' and dumbed down, you just plug it in and go, and relatively cheap compared to a PC that can run games at the same levels, so producers are targeting that market more and more.

What irks me is when they leave out the PC market all together or give us less stuff. I can understand when it comes to their key titles, Halo for MS, Killzone for Sony, etc, those are the titles they use to lure people to their consoles fine, but regular titles should be available for every system with the same specials etc.

I just wish they would come out with a new Wing Commander game! :)

Ditto on that! I remember back in my high school days when the extra 1MB of RAM I had on my 386 allowed me to get the moving hand animation on the joystick in the cockpit, that was amazing wow!!! LOL

Playing through Halo Reach they have a part of the campaign which is all space combat in these neat fighters, if they could harness that part of the engine it would make for a great platform to release another Wing Commander game :)

I don't think it lets you use the keyboard in game though, I don't get any FPS title for my PS3 so I don't know, but pretty sure you can only use the controller - which in my case would mean I couldn't hit the broadside of a barn while standing next to it :) No sir keyboard/mouse on a PC thank you :)

I have Wing Commander: Prophecy sitting buried around here somewhere.
It was designed to use GLIDE.
I remember the game being really cool.
I wonder if i could get it working on my PC somehow.

It goes back to my Monster 3d Voodoo card i had back when.

I imagine there must be some kind of emulater out there somewhere.
